ICT Project Management in an Inter-Cultural Environment (5 op)

Osaamistavoitteet (Opintojakso)

The student recognises the problematics of planning, funding, management and implementation in a multicultural ICT project. After having completed the course, the student understands the critical questions and knows what should be taken into consideration when working on a project in an inter-cultural operational environment. The student also knows methods for planning, resourcing and organising project based working.

The grade will be a combination of several sub grades:
Project plan gives grade 0-3
Project presentation gives grade 0-1
Cultural presentation gives grade 0-1
The course grade will be the sum of the sub grades.

Student knows project planning and budgeting principles and can create a basic project plan and budget. Student knows about the international project problems. Student knows about working in an intercultural project.

Arviointikriteerit - hyvä (3-4) (Ei käytössä, kts Opintojakson Arviointikriteerit ylempänä)

Student can create a project plan with a budget with an international working group. The student can take the cultural and logistical aspects into account in the plan. The student makes a presentation about the plan and the cultural aspects.

Arviointikriteerit - kiitettävä (5) (Ei käytössä, kts Opintojakson Arviointikriteerit ylempänä)

The student is able to integrate the cultural and logistical requirements into the project plan and in the budget creating a project plan fulfilling the operational preconditions. The student makes a presentation about the plan and the cultural aspects.
