- give a simple and understandable presentation using given materials and devices
- copes with simple conversations
- understands the main points of fast speech when the message is repeated if necessary

Assessment criteria - good (3-4) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

The students is able to
- give a clear presentation using devices
- converses relatively fluently
- understands people speaking with different accents when the topic is familiar
- pronounces relativel naturally and clearly
- writes relatively clearly
- uses mainly correct constructions and is able to correct them should they lead to misunderstandings
- understands the main points of a text as well as most details

The student is able to
- prepare and give an impressive, well structured presention
- converses fluently
- understands without much difficulty people speaking with different accents
- uses a variety of grammatical structures and masters them almost without fault
