Location and time
The game takes two days: 5.4. ja 26.4. The game participant needs to commit to the game for 5-6 hours per game day. The game can be played anywhere with the working internet connection. The students are expected to attend the both game days.
Turku School of Economics will send further game information before the actual game starts. Mrs. Heli Leskinen / TAMK will also provide game participants more information in March. Please, check also VIBU.fi internet pages for futher information.
Evaluation methods and criteria
The student needs to participate actively to both game days. The course grade is based on the quality of the written tasks/reports.
Teaching methods
VIBu is a global online business simulation that joins international learners in a synchronous, shared business operations environment. The team members from various countries communicate with each other via Skype and other online tools. VIBu game is coordinated by Turku School of Economics. VIBu forms an international learning experience, which engages its participants in a meaningful manner. The students will analyze the game and team work by written reports.
Learning materials
The guides are provided by the game operator (Turku School of Economics). The literature to support closing report can be selected by student him/herself.
International connections
The game participants are from various international universities.Thefore, the course materials and communication in the course is in English.
