Objectives (course unit)

After completing this course student
- knows the labour law, personnel administration and management and related regulations in working life
- can apply this knowledge to practical situations
- understand his/her role and responsibilites as employees and employers in the future training and work
- gets Occupational Health and Safety card after the official training and passing the exam

Content (course unit)

Labour law, personnel administration and related regulations, employment relationships and occupational safety legislation. Occupational Health and Safety card training is included into this course.

Exam schedules

Occupational Safety Card exam on 19th March, 2015 (is valid only if a student has fully attended the Occupational Safety Card Training 8 * 60 minutes allocated in study schedule as two sessions of 4 * 60 minutes).
The whole course exam on 5th May, 2015.

Total Grade is counted based on weighting:

Content scheduling

The course will start with an Introduction lesson, with compulsory presence required, on Tue, 10th March, 2015.
The Occupational Safety Card is a mandatory part of the course, which needs to be participated in full (8 * 60 minutes, in two parts, both mandatory), arranged on 12th and 19th March, 2014. Contact Teaching session are allocated in the official study schedule.
Exam on 5th of May,2015.
Feedback on 8th of May, 2015.

Completion alternatives

If you have an Occupational Safety Card valid until 5/2017, you could apply your valid card accredited by AHOT-application procedure, as a partial accreditation of the course.

Grade 1

Student has returned the compulsory tasks by deadline. The exams have been passed. Participation to contact teaching has varied, but there has been participation to some extent.

Student’s participation and activity
Student has participated most of the contact teaching. Student has participated to group work. The exams have been passed good. She /He has delivered the tasks by deadline and the instructions have been followed.
Student has participated the possible guest lecturer’s lecture sessions.

Grade 5

Student has participated regularly to the contact teaching. Student has participated actively to the group work and treated other group members in a constructive manner. She/He has done and delivered the tasks as per scheduled and participated actively in group discussions. The tasks and exercises have been done and delivered as per scheduled. The exams have been passed excellent. A student has showed ability to apply the knowledge by presenting his/her own questions, interpretations and examples. Student has actively participated the possible guest lecturer’s lecture sessions.
