-The student does not recognize the key factors affecting schoolchildren's brain health
-The student does not demonstrate knowledge or understanding of their role in promoting brain health in the school community
- The student does not recognize methods of promoting brain health or cannot describe their application in the context of school health care

Exam schedules

There is no exam for the course. A passing grade requires the successful completion of all learning tasks. Students can complete the learning tasks independently according to their own schedule, but no later than December 16, 2024. The dates when teachers will evaluate the learning tasks and record the completion marks for the course will be indicated on the course platform.

Assessment methods and criteria

Pass / Fail

Accepted performance requires all tasks to be completed in accordance with the instructions. In the last task, the student must demonstrate sufficient competence in relation to the objectives of the course.

Teaching methods

This online course includes diverse material on brain health and various tasks. Students independently complete the course according to their own schedule. The course does not include contact teaching online.

The teaching material used in the training can be found on the Moodle platform of the course. Education does not require independent information retrieval.

To complete the course, a student must work in school health care. Nursing students can complete the course after completing studies related to school health care.

All learning materials and tasks are in Finnish.

Content scheduling

The course consists of 9 sub-themes, which the student can complete in any order after going through the course orientation. The final section of the course should be completed last. Evaluation is done as an overall assessment, and partial completions are not possible.

Completion alternatives

The course includes a few alternative learning tasks from which the student can choose the most suitable for their study situation. The course can only be completed by doing all the learning tasks on the course platform.
