Objectives

• The student understands the key concepts, service models, and usage principles of cloud services.
• The student understands cloud architecture principles and common design patterns.
• The student can utilize core cloud platform services and design simple architectures that meet basic performance, security, and cost-efficiency requirements.
• The student can apply a well-architected framework or equivalent reference model to evaluate and improve solutions.

Content

• Fundamentals of cloud services, service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and use cases.
• Cloud architecture principles, design process, and common patterns.
• Utilization of key cloud services in compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
• Application of a well-architected framework in practical design.

Prerequisites

Basic IT skills and a general understanding of information systems.

The student knows the basic concepts of cloud services and can design a simple cloud architecture.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student masters the concepts and principles of cloud services, can use several services in architecture design, and apply the reference framework at a basic level.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has a comprehensive mastery of cloud service concepts and architecture principles, can implement versatile architecture solutions, and apply the reference framework in depth.
