Objectives

Student is able to
- explain the principles of the most common techniques used in gene technology
- describe the most important laws and regulations and consider the ethical questions associated with gene technology
- explain the methods used in gene technology laboratory work and work aseptically and safely
- utilize devices and equipment used in gene technology laboratory
- perform analyses using most common gene technology methods
- document the laboratory work clearly to laboratory notebook and report the results in the form of a laboratory report
