Objectives

Students
- can describe their skills and education in written and spoken situations
- know how to act in professional interaction
- can describe a task, device or process in a laboratory
- know the basic vocabulary of the field
- write and read instructions
- write professional e-mails
- write job application documentation and handle an English job interview
- know the basic business English vocabulary and can give a presentation of a company from their own field of study

- grammar as required

Prerequisites

B1-level language skills

Accepted skills test for Working English for Engineers.
Sufficient skills in Finnish.
Mandatory participation on 80% of the classes.
