Objective of course
Students have the ability to act as correpetiteurs and work in different musical environments. They have knowledge of the field and its special demands and working conditions and have the capability of working as a member of a team comprising of a director and conductor (or other artistic director). Students also have the skills to independently rehearse a work and act as a musical partner.

Course contents
becoming acquainted with fundamental opera and oratorio repertoire, different periods
acting as accompanist, correpetiteur and musician in opera, oratorio, orchestral and choral works
basics of ballet correpetition and dance
assignments in correpetition, accompaniment of recitatives (on the harpsichord), participation in productions

Teaching methods
Practical assignments under supervision, discussion, independent work

Assessment methods
Assessment of participation in the different work forms of the course by the teacher and peers. Self-evaluation.
