Objectives
The students learn the basics of Finland’s electric energy systems and the central factors affecting electrical safety. The students also familiarise themselves with choosing of electric appliances, electric motors and the usage of electric motors.
Content
Finland’s electric maintenance. Structure and components of ELV and low voltage systems. UPS equipment. The basic properties of transformers and rotating electric machinery. Structure and components of electric motor usage. Speed regulated us-age. Dangers of electricity. Basics of electrical installations: measuring and protection of wire, choosing electric appliances.
