Process Technology Laboratory Work (5cr)

Objectives

Through laboratory and pilot-scaled equipment, the students have learned about the phenomena, equipment and safety aspects of the most common chemical unit processes. The students are able to write a technical report, analyse results and can work as members of a team.

Content

Laboratory work using the laboratory and pilot-scaled equipment. Mechanical, chemical, heat transfer and mass transfer processes.

Prerequisites

Recommended prerequisites: Basics of Chemical Technology (PTK-702), Flow mechanics (PTK-K11), Heat transfer technology (PTK-K21), Mass transfer technology (PTK-K10) or equivalent
