- 4 cr
Objectives
The students know the basic principles behind the most important biotechnological processes and understand how the unit operations of chemical technology are applicable to biotechnological processes. The students know what factors affect the quality and safety of biotechnological processes and are able to apply them in their work. They know how to find information from the literature and the Internet. The students have developed their skills in group working and writing reports. The students understand how to take into consideration health, safety and the environment when researching, developing, producing and distributing biotechnology products and services.
