Objectives
The students are able to carry out an environmental measurement process from the planning through the measuring and all the way to the evaluation of results. The students have developed their knowledge of the basics of research and development activities and carrying out a small-scale measuring project.
In the evaluation of results, the students have developed their skills in independent work, group work, reporting, analysing the measurement results as well as written and oral presentation. The students have assumed a viewpoint of professional ethics and are able to apply the results into evaluating environmental effects, as defined in the legislation.
Content
Contents. Radon measurements, most significant measurements of air analysis and measurements of environmental noise.
Prerequisites
