Objectives
The students learn foundation and measuring systems and the different parts of a building’s surface and supporting structures so that they can draw the basic structure types and the simple joints of structures. The course forms the basis for further study.
Content
The structural parts of the frame and casing of concrete residential building as well as gently slooping roofs. The students also learn about the basics of heat and moisture technologies. As an assignment, the students draw the workshop drawings of a single family house.
Prerequisites
Basics of Construction Management for students with matriculation exam. Equivalent skills for students with vocational school background.
