Objectives
The students learn the basics of modern, computer aided road design. They acquire the skills to plan common roads with a computer.
Content
Computer aided road design: basics, terrain model, planning of geometry, maps, cross-sections, junctions and plotting files. Perspective drawings and 3D-visualiation. The also covers the basics of lighting, drainage and traffic control and designing of parking areas and bus stops.
