Objectives
The course gives the students sufficient skills of blasting work and safety regulations that they can take the written exam required for the blaster certificate. Using tables, the students are able to design bench blasting and to interpret blasting designs created by others.
The students get sufficient knowledge of blasting work to be able to act as the representative of the orderer or contractor in blasting work, and as a designer are able to set the quality demands for the blasting work and its environment.
Because blasting takes place in various construction projects, the course focuses on environment and quality demands – especially vibration – of blasting work.
Content
