Objective of course
The student has an overview of public law and learns the basic concepts, rules and principles of constitutional law as well as norms regulating the function of highest state organs and individuals´ position in relation to government officials. Students outline the basics of basic right and human right system and individuals´ legal status. Students can apply basic and human right norms and analyse and solve legal problems.

Course contents
- Public law as part of the legal order
- Parliament´s functions, organisation and forms of activity
- President of the republic and council of state, their relations, forms of activity and relation to the parliament
- Supreme courts and central administration and their relations to the government and parliament
- Enactment of laws
- Basic and human right system and bases for individuals´ legal status
- Judicial supervision of administrative action and regulations
