Finnish Language and Culture B (3cr)

Objectives

This is an elementary course for students with no previous knowledge of Finnish. It will provide the students with basic communication skills in Finnish and will familiarise them with Finnish culture.

Content

The contents include characteristics of Finnish, pronunciation, basic grammar, day-to-day language and the Finnish way of life: Communicative exercises connected with basic structures – for example local cases – and important vocabulary.
