Objective of course
Students are familiarised with research and research process and understand the role of research in the development of work practices. Students can complete concept analysis of phenomena. Students can define research problems. Students are familiarised with the most common research methods and learn to use them appropriately. Students can draw conclusions. Students will learn to search versatile information and estimate different information sources critically. Students can convert scientific information into practical principles. Students can use theoretical and conceptual information in diverse operational environments (e.g. as frame of reference). Students can report results in written.

Phases of the research process and scientific problem solving, different research approaches and methods, converting scientific information to practical principles, using theoretical and conceptual information in diverse operational environments, reporting, publishing and critical analysis of research, research ethics
