Orientation Studies
Students
-are able to work at The Tampere university of applied sciences learning and operational environment
-are aware of the structure of the degree programme, their future profession and the University Tampere of applied sciences studies as part of the European higher education system
-know the core competence fields of Degree Programme in Social Services
-become familiar with the student group and understand how to promote positive learning environment
-recognise their own study resources
-recognise their strengths and development needs as regards studying
-participate in the development of the study environment
-are capable of utilising diverse guidance and support services
-can use electronic feedback systems and participate in constructive development of education

Teaching methods
Personal study plan discussions each year, written assignment on professional growth in all practical trainings. Participation in orientation studies and tutor groups. Information session on international affairs
