Objective of course
Students have interactive oral skills so that they can manage in professional, multicultural social situations. Students know how to compile and deliver a well-structured, logical oral presentation. They can access and gather information from various electronic sources, data bases, professional journals and literature. Students are able to write professional text and use appropriate register in their oral and written communication. They are aware of cultural differences and how they affect language usage. Students know how to plan, monitor and assess their own learning.

" formal versus informal language usage
" business letter and CV
" e-mail
Teaching methods
Pair and group work, co-operative and collaborative learning, independent study including oral and written assignments. Students' own active participation in planning and implementation of their learning.
Assessment methods
Peer and self-evaluation, teacher's assessment of class performance including personal development, effort, and oral and written work. Attention is paid to following instructions and keeping deadlines. Oral and written test. Grading on a scale of 1-5.
Prerequisites:
The minimum of B2 language skills (Common European Framework of Languages)
