- social legislation as means of social policy
- historical development of social legislation
- electronic information acquisition on social legislation
- national and international legislation, EU law and administration´s official sources
- legal principles and their meaning in social and health care
- key social human rights and social rights in national legislation
- social welfare and health care legislation
- administrative procedure
- confidentiality and publicity principles, coercive measures

Objective for the student
- understand the functions of the social welfare law in social policy
- acquisition of information of the legislation concerning the legal field of social welfare and health care
- possess the sources for the social welfare law
- assessment implementation of the legal principles of social and health care
- awareness of the social welfare law and its contents
- apply the main legislation concerning social and health care in the position of a social welfare officer

- social welfare law as a medium of social policy
- the historical development of the social welfare law
- acquisition of information about social welfare legislation via the internet and other virtual media
- national and international legislation, EU law and the government official sources
- basic principles of law and their emphasis in social welfare and health care
- essential social human rights and the national social rights in legislation
- laws structuring the social welfare and health care
- administrative process, principle of publicity and legal confidentiality, involuntary actions
