Content

Ethical skills in social work
The students
- can examine ethical questions from the viewpoint of an individual, community and society

Customership:
The students
- can create holistic life situation charts with the customer
- can focus their method skills purposefully to increase the customer's strenght
- can work as a member of a multiprofessional team as the expert on social viewpoints
- can apply their knowledge on social and welfare services and benefits by using various information acquisition systems

Social service systems
The students
- can evaluate the customer's needs diversy and flexibly
- can guide customers from other cultures to the services they require and benefit from
- can examine and evaluate the lackings and conflicts in the service system on different levels

Critical and participatory civil participation
The students
- know various forms of civil participation, e.g. making suggestions to the decision makers with their staff, being the solicitor for their customers, develop support networks, influencing in media etc.
- can analyse the opportunities and implementation of preventive work in their practical training place and develop work in it
- know the socio-economical decision making of their practical working place, recognise the factors as the marginals for the functions of the place

Research
The students
- can accept responsible development tasks within their professional skills
- can operate as social work superiors, recognise their own strenghts and areas of development
- develop their professional skills through training and on-site learning
