Objectives

The students learn the central regulations and instructions concerning electrical safety and understand the most important factors relating to electric safety. The students also learn the basics of designing and implementing electric installations and learn to search for further information on a professional subject.

Content

Electric safety law and regulations, Ministry of Trade and Education’s decision about electric safety, electric safety standards. Basics of electric installation technology. Protection from electric shocks, basic structure of a building network, defining power, dimensioning wire, choosing an electric appliance, International Protection classes, signs.
