Objectives

The students learn the fundamental elements of differential and integral calculus. They understand the derivative as instantaneous rate of change and as a descriptor of properties of the function. They are able to use their skills in solving technical problems.

Content

Exponential and logarithm functions and equations, limit and continuity of a function, derivative and its applications, differentials, describing the properties of a function with a derivative, integral, definite integral and its applications, function with several variables, differential equation and its basic events, utilization of mathematical software.
