Objective of course
-students gain an overall view of the diverse phases of record production
-students recognise the work tasks and occupational titles related to record production
-students can preliminarily recognise their own strengths and weaknesses in relation to the work tasks of the field
-students are preliminarily familiarised with the hardware and software used in digital sound editing and IT-learning envinronment
-students can record and store acoustic signals by utilising computers
-students are preliminarily familiarised with syncronizing picture and sound and sound design
-students know the theoretic basics of digital sound recording
-students know how to search and apply information independently and as a group member

Course contents:
-popular music record production in the globalizing market
-digital sound editing and recording
-using a computer and IT-learning environment
-hardware and software for digital sound editing available at the learning facilities
-the most common digital sound formats
-basics of syncronizing picture and sound and sound design
-searching data
