-can analyse the stereophonic and depth effects of music, perceive instruments in relation to space
-can select the appropriate signal routing
-know how to construct sound plans and select the tools needed to implement them
-master studio recording of basic accompanying instruments and the human voice
-know the basics of stereo mixing
