The student
- understands the concept of people as functional physical beings
- familiarises himself/herself with the basic structure and function of human organs and organ systems in order to apply the information in the professional studies
Course contents
-basic vital functions: the structure and function of cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal and urine excretion systems
-reproduction
-regulation systems of the human body: fluid balance and homeostasis, neural and hormonal control of metabolism
-main features of the blood and immune system, structure and function of the musculoskeletal system and sensory system
