Asiantuntijaluennot:
Opiskelija laajentaa ja syventää ammatillisista osaamistaan ja saa valmiuksia toimia alan perus-, esimies-, kehittämis- ja asiantuntijatehtävissä. Hän vahvistaa ammatti-identiteettiään ja työelämäyhteyksiään rekrytoituakseen elinkeinoon.

Yrityspeli: Opiskelijat hahmottavat hotelli- ja ravintolaliiketoiminnan kokonaisuutena ja ymmärtävät kannattavuuden eri osatekijöiden vaikutuksen yrityksen tulokseen.

Kehittämistehtävä: Opiskelija ymmärtää hotellin toiminnan prosessimaisena kokonaisuutena ja saa valmiuksia hotellin toiminnan systemaattiseen kehittämiseen

Development of hotel operations

Objective of course
Students will understand the hotel and restaurant operation as a process and gain abilities for systematical development of hotel operations.

Course contents
- evaluation of hotel business from different points
- to handle problems in hotel business (organization, principles of management, technoque, introduction, marketing, economy, customerships, sale and delivery, house keeping)

Objective of course
Students will understand business operations as a complex in hotel and restaurant management. They understand the effect of separate factors of profitability on profits.

Course contents
Business game on hotel and restaurant management
Six teams (enterprises) compete for the same markets during two fiscal periods
