Construction and Design Guidance in Industrial Wood ConstructionLaajuus (3 cr)

Objectives

The student is able to assess the importance of managing and directing the construction and design of a wooden building project, as well as set design goals and explain how the project is guided to achieve the goals. The student is able to describe the selection methods used in the different stages of construction and design and the cost and value impacts of decisions. In addition, the student is able to assess the importance of the building's life cycle and quality thinking and energy management. The student understands the construction process from the perspective of wooden construction.

Content

Puurakentaminen asiakkaan näkökulmasta; arvotiedon hankinta ja asiakastyytyväisyys.
Puurakentamishankkeen tavoitteiden määrittäminen; käyttöarvo, ulkoisvaikutukset, aika ja raha.
Puurakennustekniikan huomioiminen toimeksiannoissa; tekniset tavoitteet, tavoitteiden muovautuminen, tiedonkulku.
Puurakentamisen haasteet ja mahdollisuudet raha- ja hiilitaloudessa.
Puurakentamisen vaikutus toteutusmuodon valintaan.
Alan aktiivisten toimijoiden näkemyksiä ja kokemuksia rakennuttamiseen ja suunnittelun ohjaamiseen liittyen.
