Objectives
During this course the focus is on common skills that are needed in studying and everyday working life, such as teamwork skills, cooperation skills, responsibility, commitment, willingness to learn, ability to work in changing environments, and understanding of complexities. The course emphasises the meaning of independent responsibility for personal development and learning. The course lasts for the whole academic year.
After completing the course, the student will
- know TAMK’s operating environment
- know the degree programme curriculum
- participate in the annual development discussion
- be able to ask for counselling and be aware of their responsibility
- be able to act as a team member and help to reach the joint goals of the team
- manage time use
- be self-directive
- act ethically and responsibly
- know fields of occupational safety.
