Teaching Professional Communication in a Foreign Language (3op)

Osaamistavoitteet

This is an elective course for TAOK teacher students who will be teaching foreign languages or Swedish.

After this course students will
* be able to apply contemporary learning theories into teaching foreign languages
* know how to plan student-centered language learning activities
* know how to teach the four skills, reading, speaking, writing and listening as part of professional communication
* be able to empower students to develop agency and autonomy in using a foreign language
* be able to apply authentic assessment into language learning
