Osaamistavoitteet

Learning outcomes of the course unit
After successful completion of the course the students will be able to
- know the most common features of spoken Finnish
- communicate with Finns in professional everyday situations
- understand standard nursing and health care related messages in Finnish
- pronounce Finnish correctly.

Sisältö

Course contents
The course focuses on developing practical language skills. In addition, a student will learn words and phrases needed in working life and study grammar.
- structural exercises

- conversational and drama exercises
- listening comprehension exercises
- reading comprehension exercises
- written exercises.

The course is for students whose mother tongue is not Finnish (estimated level B1).
