Basics of Business Accounting (5op)

Osaamistavoitteet

The participants will recognize the structure and contents of economic reports in businesses and know the essential concepts of financial and accounting management. The student is able to read and understand the financial reports, i.e. income statement and balance sheet, and the student will be able to discuss financial reports with the accounting department.

Sisältö

The course provides the basic vocabularity to discuss business matters. An overview of the annual reports will be offered. The students will familiarize themselves with business plan, basic investment calculations, budgeting and economical and operational key figures. The students will recognize different report types.
