Objectives
Students have learned choir conductor`s basic skills. They know basic beat patterns and understand the effect of a beat technique on the sound of a choral instrument. They have learned the basics of choral conduction. They are able to have a voice opening session, to analyse compositions independently, and master both giving the starting notes and basics of playing choral scores. Students have familiarized with literature for choirs and basic demands of choral singing by singing in a rehearsal choir.

- beat technique, choir rehearsing, giving of the starting notes, voice opening, analysis of choral compositions, and basics of choral score playing
- the repertoire of approximately ten choral compositions representing different music genres and eras and mainly written for four voices
- rehearsing and conducting a rehearsal choir, singing in a choir
