Orientation to Clinical Training, pediatric and women´s nursign and obstetrics (3cr)

Objectives

Student
- is able to handle safely pregnant women during transport
- is able to monitor the progress of the labor and take care of the birth
- knows the delivery technique and shows that in simulations
- is able to care for newborn and know how to take care of child´s welfare during transaport
- knows the breech presentaiton delivery technique and is practising it
- is able to observe a child´s basic vital functions
- knows how to take care of the sick newborn
- knows the main part of the child´s examination and treatment
- knows the basics of the child´s medication and IV fluid therapy
- is able to resuscitate children of different ages
- knows the basics of the child and family guidance
- is able to safely act a variety of treatment situation in the hospital and outside the hospital

-practice of skills in maternity care 1 cr
-practice of skills in paediatric nursing 1 cr
