Objectives

The students learn the structure and operation of directors, inverters and components in power electronics, and the basics of choosing, controlling and protecting the components for the power level.

Content

Operating principles of the power electronic equipment and inverters, basic characteristics and use. Inverters between different networks and direct inverters, control principles. Component properties, selection grounds, measuring and protection. Measuring the inverter. Power electronics network impact, parameters and reducing interference. Principles of set direct and alternating currents. Simulation exercises.
