Objectives
The students are able to describe the basic structures of electricity production, transfer and distribution. They are able to interpret the documents of the field. The students are able to describe interference and shielding methods of electrical network. They recognise the basic principles and components of using electricity.
Content
Finland’s electrical maintenance, structure of production and consumption of electric power, structural principles and basic components of electrical networks, lightning conductors, quality of electricity. Short circuits in electricity distribution network.
Basic characteristics of transformers and the most common electrical appliances, structural principles and components of electrical systems, basic structure and components of electrical motor drives.
