Objectives

The student understands the importance of different digital processes and systems for the company's operations and development and is able to apply their skills to the needs of the company's operations development.
Students will also gain practical digitalization exercises through the ability to utilize commercial digital platforms.

Content

This study implementation consists of various practical exercises to develop software and digital readiness, including:  Rasberry Pi, Arduino, IoT platform data visualisation.
Study methods: Classroom teaching as part of TAMK's new FieldLab Industry 4.0. laboratory environment.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student identifies industrially usable digital commercial platforms and identifies the most important basic concepts, functions and influencing variables related to them. The student recognizes the importance of digital processes and systems for the company's operations, is aware of the laws governing the topic and performs the given tasks, assisted if necessary.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student is familiar with digital platforms used in industry and is familiar with the prevailing practices and areas. The student knows the importance of digital processes and systems for the company's operations and independently performs the assigned tasks.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is well versed in industrially exploitable digital platforms and their components and is able to apply their skills to various tasks in the field. The student has a good understanding of the importance of digital processes and systems for the operation of a company and, if necessary, assists and guides others.
