Objectives
Event and media production have become closer together as distribution channels and production methods develop. More and more events are distributed digitally online at the same time or recorded either for the audience present, e.g. on a screen, or available to the public over the network (accessibility). A unique and original story plays an important role in producing an event: it communicates to the visitors the values, ideas and goals that the event wants to promote. The more engaging and relevant the event's content is, the easier it is to get people interested and participate in the event. In this course, the student learns the meaning and basics of storytelling and visuals and knows how to recognize the elements of a good story. The student understands the whole and importance of storytelling in producing a service experience for the customer. In addition, the student gets ideas for building the story identity of the event, writing the story script for the services, and conceptualizing the contents. The training also includes photography, composition and drawing as part of visual design. The student learns to evaluate different ideas and content and their implementation possibilities in a customer- and audience-oriented manner. The student also knows how to pitch his ideas.
