Objectives

The Student
- knows the bases and trends of evidence-based acute nursing;
- uses evidence-based knowledge in different operating environments of acute nursing;
- promotes introduction of evidence-based knowledge in their organisation.

Content

- development process of evidence-based practice: planning, implementation and assessment

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The Student
- knows the basics of evidence-based activity in acute care nursing;
- is able to utilize evidence-based information partly in acute care.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The Student
- is able to apply and evaluate the basics and implementation models of evidence-based activities in the development of the social and health sector;
- is able to establish as member of a team of experts on evidence-based practices in the field of social and health care professional activity;
- is able to support and guide the development of evidence-based activities;
- knows the process of writing up a recommendation for evidence based practice;
- is able to use the evidence in its own work as part of the team.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The Student
- is able to apply and critically evaluate the basics and implementation models of evidence-based activities in the development of the social and health sector at the individual and community levels;
- is able to establish evidence-based practices in occupational health and social work;
- is able to support and guide the development of evidence-based activities;
- knows the process of writing of a recommendation for evidence based practice;
- is able to use evidence based knowledge in its own activities.
