Description
ELIGIBILITY
Master's degree is designed for people who have completed a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering, and who have at least three years of work experience in a relevant field after graduation. In cases of persons who have completed a vocational degree or have another university degree, and who have since completed an applicable Bachelor’s degree, relevant work experience may be accepted from the time before graduation from said degree programme.
COMPETENCES
The program target is to provide the students to work as a specialist, developer and manager in the field of building services engineering. Further target is technology, R&D, automation and project management skills to innovate, design, develop and produce solutions and services. The starting point of the program is the needs of the working life and the end customer needs.
PROFESSIONAL STATUS
Companies need engineers with Master’s degree as specialists, designers and developers and as project managers.
EDUCATION VALUE BASIS
Building services engineering are important for the functionality, healthfulness, safety and energy efficiency in our living environment. The value of training is based life cycle thinking, sustainable development and ethics.
STRUCTURE
The studies consist of advanced professional studies (25 credits), the Master’s thesis (30 credits) and free-choice studies (5 credits). In advanced professional studies the students increase their knowledge and skills on building services engineering. The students can further increase their knowledge, depending on their development task or vocational special needs, in the free-choice studies.
