Objectives
In this course, the student familiarizes themselves with the overall picture of the construction project and implementation process, thus gaining an understanding of the various stages and stakeholders in construction. Additionally, they become acquainted with the legislation and contract terms guiding construction. Upon completing the course, the student:
• Recognizes the different parties and stakeholders involved in a construction project, along with their roles in the project.
• Understands the various forms of construction project implementation.
• Familiarizes themselves with the practices of scheduling and managing construction project timelines.
• Identifies the general contract terms for construction work (YSE) and the general contract terms for consulting services (KSE).
• Acquires knowledge about the organizational roles, professional associations, and the rights and obligations of workers in the construction industry.
• Can investigate common practices and key responsibilities in construction site safety.
• Can work safely and appropriately in construction site conditions, identifying potential hazards.
• Can search for information from industry regulations and sources, as well as understand the permitting practices in construction.

The student recognizes most of the various parties involved in a construction project and can describe their roles in the construction project. The student can also mention several industry actors.
The student is familiar with the different forms of construction project implementation and can name their key features.
The student identifies the basic practices of planning and managing the construction project timeline.
The student recognizes the general contract terms for construction work (YSE) and the general contract terms for consulting services (KSE).
The student identifies the trust roles within the organizational structure and has basic knowledge of the rights and obligations of workers.
The student can name the key regulations and information sources in the field.

The student can describe and analyze the roles of different parties in a construction project and has a deeper understanding of industry stakeholders.
The student can compare and evaluate the advantages and challenges of various implementation methods in a construction project.

The student can deeply analyze and evaluate the roles of different parties in a construction project and assess the impact of industry stakeholders on the project.
