Objectives

On this course, students enhance and deepen their understanding of regulations, directives, and guidelines related to electrical work safety. The goal is for students to acquire sufficient competence to pass the Tukes' Electrical safety certification 2. Upon completing the course, students will be familiar with and able to effectively utilize laws, regulations, standards, and other publications relevant to electrical work safety, as included in the Tukes Electrical safety certification.

Prerequisites

It is recommended for students to have completed the first three years of studies in an electrical building services or another university-level electrical engineering program.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student recognizes the regulations, directives, and guidelines related to electrical work safety, but independent information retrieval is challenging.
The student understands the key responsibilities related to electrical work safety within a company and the requirements for electrical and usage tasks.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student can identify the regulations, directives, and guidelines related to electrical work safety.
Additionally, they can independently search for and justify answers to common questions related to electrical work safety. The student understands and justifies the company's responsibilities related to electrical work safety, as well as the requirements for electrical and usage tasks.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student can identify and articulate the regulations, directives, and guidelines related to electrical work safety in their own words.
Additionally, they can efficiently search for and justify answers to applied questions related to electrical work safety.
The student understands and justifies the company's responsibilities related to electrical work safety, as well as the requirements for electrical and usage tasks.
