Objectives

The student works in tasks related to building services engineering, where they develop and apply their expertise in the field.
The student can assess their professional competence and identify areas for development, actively seeking an internship that enhances their skills.
They are capable of setting personal learning objectives for the internship and applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
The student can analyze and describe the expertise gained during the internship tasks.
Additionally, the student familiarizes themselves with companies and other stakeholders in the field.

Content

Participation in internship guidance sessions, applying for internship positions, creating an internship plan with competence objectives, maintaining internship documents, monitoring the internship through a work diary, and reporting on the internship according to the agreed schedule.
Additionally, attending company and exhibition events as well as professional seminars.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

Pass (s): The student has set learning objectives for the internship, approved the plan, regularly monitored and documented the achievement of the knowledge objectives, and returned the reporting according to the instructions. The student's internship period is 3 work weeks full-time. The student has attended regularly business and trade fairs and professional seminars.
Fail (h): No learning objectives have been set for the training, the training has not been reported as instructed. The student has not attended business and trade fairs or professional seminars.

Further information

This course is intended for the internship during the summer after the second year of studies, allowing the student to apply the knowledge gained in the second year. Detailed content requirements for the internship will be specified in the degree program's internship guidelines.
