Objectives
The student is able to
• identify and determine the needs for air conditioning in different buildings, taking into account functional and energy efficiency aspects
• dimension the ventilation system and select the components needed
• find out about regulations and other regulations and instructions governing indoor climate
• Use the Mollier diagram to determine air processes
• Make a basic ventilation plan
Content
Climate Thermodynamics and Basic Climate Processes with IX in-depth. Ventilation needs thinking. Air conditioning systems in residential and office buildings and their design conditions, technical comparison and selection of systems, typical duct design and basic control, calculation of air conditioning cooling needs, central principles of air distribution, basics of flow and exhaust jet flow theory
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
