Objectives

he student can

• utilize information models, energy and condition simulations in the work of an energy expert
• use a variety of IT tools for building dimensioning, modeling and document preparation
• maintains a composite data model for the building
• do energy and condition modeling

Content

Principles of data model-based design and maintaining a composite data model of different design disciplines. Use of databases related to information models, dimensioning tools, basics of energy and condition modeling.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student recognizes the basic principles and uses of information modeling and energy modeling software and performs simple modeling tasks.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student is able to use information modeling and energy modeling software appropriately when working as an energy expert in a building project.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to use and apply a variety of information model-based design tools and utilize their potential in defining energy-efficient and cost-optimal building technology solutions.
