Further information
The student will be divided into groups where each group will consist of 3-4 students each. These groups will be given tasks which are problem-based learning (PBL) where clinical cases, practical information which was not thought in the class will be discussed. Each week, tasks will be given, and the members of the group will jointly find solutions to the clinical problems. Materials for the PBL shall be handed to students or uploaded in Moodle. At the end of the course, examinations will be given separately where each PBL group will jointly do the clinical exam. The clinical case exam.
The aim of the PBL is to familiarise the students with teamwork and to be able to search and used approved materials such as clinical guidelines to systematically take a history, medical examination, clinical investigations, and imaging to arrive at the diagnosis of several diseases and profound prepare nursing care for the patients.
The PBL exams will be similar to the task done during the PBL discussion. Active participation and attendance in the PBL is a requirement to pass the PBL exam.
PBL shall constitute 40% of the exam grade.
