- knows the importance of examining and assessing basic vital signs and knows the interventions necessary when a patient’s condition is deteriorating
- knows how to plan, implement and evaluate medical nursing
- knows the essential nursing interventions for medical patients at different stages of illness
- acquires the capability to guide, implement and assess the effect of medication on medical patients
- knows the importance of multiprofessional collaboration in the holistic care of the medical patient.

- is able carry out nursing care for a medical patient
- knows the main nursing interventions of medical patients at different stages of illness
- knows the key issues related to the medication guidance, implementation, and impact assessment of a medical patient
- perceives the importance of multiprofessional collaboration in the holistic care of a medical patient.
