Objectives
The main objective of the course is to familiarize students with X-ray equipment and its operation and to identify the factors involved in the formation of an X-ray image.
After completing the course, the student:
• knows the basic concepts, structure and operation principles of radiological equipment
• knows the principles of imaging
• knows the factors affecting the formation and quality of x-rays and how they can be affected in x-ray examinations
• knows the principles of safe operation of radiation in x-rays and comply with them
• knows the principles of image archiving and the function of patient record systems and are committed to comply with privacy protection
• can use digital imaging equipment safely
